Robot Studios IT Consultancy BV is my company. A small software factory: it builds and operates my own web and mobile products, and takes on the Linux and Laravel work that keeps other people's online. Registered in Belgium since 29 August 2019.
Sheet 02 · General arrangement
The same servers, the same framework and the same pager. One half builds products for me, the other half points those skills at your stack.
I write the code, run the servers, answer the support mail and pay the hosting bill. All four on purpose: the person who wrote the deploy script should be the one it wakes up at 3am. It changes what you're willing to ship.

Three containers in service. Two are mine end to end, one I co-founded and still work on every week.
A calorie tracker where you photograph the plate and it does the rest. No weighing, no barcode scanning, no database with fourteen kinds of oatmeal. iOS, Android and web, in ten languages.

Website monitoring that goes past a ping on the homepage: uptime, broken links, mixed content, certificates, cron jobs that stopped running. Co-founded in 2018. It runs on its own company, not this one.

A wishlist you share with family before a birthday. Every affiliate cent it earns goes to a charity instead of to me. You pay nothing extra, because it comes out of the retailer's margin.

Everything here is work I already do for my own software. The consultancy isn't a separate skill set, it's the same line pointed at your stack.
Provisioning, hardening and maintaining Ubuntu and Debian boxes. The unglamorous half is the half that decides whether a server survives its third year.
Building Laravel applications, and dragging old ones forward. Tests, static analysis and CI come with it, they aren't a line item.
Zone design, DNSSEC, certificate automation, and the SPF, DKIM and DMARC records that decide whether your mail lands in an inbox.
The hard part isn't collecting the data, it's deciding what deserves to wake someone up. An alert everyone ignores is worse than no alert.
Finding out why a page takes four seconds. Query profiling, caching, Varnish, HTTP/3, and load testing before a launch rather than during it.
The boring failure modes that actually get sites defaced, found before they do. And when it already went wrong, working out what happened and closing it.
